• Account & Identity Information: Full name, verified mobile phone number, email address, gender, date of birth, marital status, and government photo ID (for voluntary identity verification badge).
• Matrimonial & Cultural Attributes: Religion, community/caste, sub-community, mother tongue, gotra/sect, educational qualification, occupation, annual income range, current city, and partner preferences.
• Media & Biodata: Profile photographs, family biodata summary, horoscope/kundli preferences, and optional astrological details provided voluntarily.
• Device & Usage Information: Device identifiers, operating system version, IP address, and session timestamps solely for fraud prevention, duplicate detection, and security auditing.

3. Purpose & Use of Collected Data

We process your personal information strictly for legitimate matrimonial matchmaking purposes, including:

• Creating, maintaining, and verifying authentic matrimonial profiles.
• Calculating mutual algorithmic compatibility and recommending aligned prospective life partners.
• Facilitating consented communication (Interests, Proposals, and Messages) between prospective brides, grooms, and their families.
• Preventing fraudulent profiles, duplicate registrations, and abusive behavior across the platform.

4. Data Sharing & Non-Exposure of Contact Coordinates

Private contact details (mobile numbers, emails, addresses) are NEVER transmitted in public API responses, client-side javascript payloads, HTML source code, CSS, metadata, or search engine feeds. Only authenticated members with active, approved contact-view privileges whom you have explicitly permitted can view your contact coordinates. We NEVER sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third-party advertising networks or data brokers.

5. Account Deletion & Data Erasure (Google Play Compliant)

Under Google Play User Data policies and the DPDP Act, every user possesses the unconditional right to request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data at any time:

• Public Web Deletion Portal: You can submit an account and data deletion request online without needing to log in or install the app by visiting our dedicated deletion portal: https://vanshikamatrimony.com/delete-account.
• In-App Deletion: Registered members can also request account deletion directly within the mobile application under Settings → Delete Account.
• Data Erased: Upon verification of the deletion request, your profile, personal biodata, gallery photos, uploaded identity proofs, partner preferences, and chat histories are permanently purged within 48 to 72 hours.
• Statutory Retention: Financial transaction invoices and billing receipts are retained strictly as required by applicable tax, GST, and accounting laws.

6. Child Safety & Protection (18+ Mandatory)
